 MUSIC MINISTRIES Robby Webb, Minister of Music robby@grassybranch.org Robby came to Grassy Branch Baptist Church in March, 2005, after having served as Minister of Music at Piney Mountain Baptist Church in Weaverville for many years. Robby and his wife, Kellie, have three children - Evan, Bradley, and Reannah, and they live in Weaverville, NC. Robby leads Grassy Branch in worship each Sunday, and also directs the adult choir. After graduating from college, Jason came on board to serve as our Interim Minister to Youth and Children, and has served in that role since. Youth and Children's ministries are a vital part of our vision here at Grassy Branch Church. For more information on our Youth and Children's ministries, click the link below: Youth and Children's Ministries at Grassy Branch  AWANA John and Birdie Williams, Commanders For over 20 years, the AWANA Club has been a part of the Ministry of Grassy Branch Church. Each Wednesday evening throughout the school year, clubbers from Kindergarten age through High School come through our doors for two hours of fun and games, as well as intensive Bible study and memorization. Our AWANA club meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. For more information on our AWANA ministry, click the link below: AWANA Ministry at Grassy Branch  CARE MINISTRY Suzie Merrell, Coordinator CARE stands for Christians Actively Reaching Everyone, and serves to be an outreach and and inreach ministry of Grassy Branch Baptist Church. We presently have four active CARE teams who meet each Thursday for a time of making phone calls and visits, as well as sending cards and notes of encouragement to people inside and outside of our church congregation. CARE Ministry at Grassy Branch  BAPTIST MEN OF GRASSY BRANCH Larry Davis, Coordinator Our newly reorganized men's ministry will seek to get men together for monthly fellowship, a time in the Word, and various service projects for people in need, both in our church and in our community. In recent years, several men form our church were involved in the disaster relief effort in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The vision of the Baptist Men of Grassy Branch is to organize our men and to be ready in the event of another similar disaster.  WOMEN'S MINISTRIES Currently the women of our church meet each Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for Bible Study. This Bible Study this spring is Beth Moore's "Stepping Up," and is a study through the Psalms of Ascent. Our women also participate in retreats throughout the year, one in the fall and one in the spring. This year's spring retreat will take place on Saturday May 17.
