	Welcome to our Church website. We invite you to take a few moments to visit our website, and to get a small glimpse of who we are and what we are about.  Our purpose is to proclaim the "good news" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - that he died for us to forgive our sins, and he rose again to give us hope.  And He did all of this because of His immense love for us.  Our prayer is that you will discover the power of the Gospel and that it will literally change your life. We are proclaiming the year 2012 as a "Red Letter" year here at Grassy Branch. During the year, our calendar highlights certain significant and special days, such as Christmas and other holidays, as "red letter days."  This year, we are proclaiming the entire year as a special and significant "Red Letter Year." To celebrate this "Red Letter" year, everything that we do this year will have a special "Red Letter" theme to celebrate it...including the Sunday sermons. In 2011, we spent the year in a study of the entire Bible.  Over and over we came to the realization that everything we studied in both the Old and New Testaments had to be filtered and synthesized through the central character of the Bible, Jesus Christ, himself.  In this "Red Letter" year, the focus of our study will center around Jesus, more specifically, what he said. Most of us grew up with a Bible that highlighted the words of Jesus in red.  This year, all of the messages will have as its text, the actual spoken words of the Saviour.  So many times, people say, "I wish He would just come down he and tell me what to do."  The truth is that He has come, and He has spoken actual, literal, "red letter" words, that we will use as the heart of all of the messages this coming year. Join us each Sunday as we examine and study the words that Jesus actually spoke, as we look to Him to make this a "Red Letter" year here at Grassy Branch.   As we go through our RED LETTER YEAR we will be focusing most of our sermons and lessons on the "Red Letter" words of Christ.
